Account Deletion
How to delete your ShowSocial account and data.
Delete Your Account In-App
You can delete your account directly from the ShowSocial app at any time:
- Open the ShowSocial app.
- Tap your Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation prompt.
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your profile information (name, username, bio, avatar, cover image)
- All posts and videos you have uploaded
- All Shows and episodes you have created
- All comments, likes, and reactions
- All direct messages and chat history
- Your connections and follower/following relationships
- Your token balance and tipping history
- Your notification history
- Your account credentials and login information
What Data May Be Retained
After deletion, the following may be retained for a limited period:
- Transaction records: Payment and purchase records required for financial compliance may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law.
- Abuse/safety records: If your account was involved in a reported safety incident, minimal records may be retained as required to fulfill our legal obligations.
Request Deletion by Email
If you are unable to access the app and wish to request account deletion, email us at:

Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your deletion request within 30 days.
